Vicente Balaguer Domenech · Violín

Born in Benaguasil in 1968, Vicente Balaguer started to study the violin at the age of five with his father and continued his studies at the Superior Conservatory of Valencia with A.Sanchez, J.Alós and J.Linares and later with A. León Ara in Barcelona, obtaining a first price with Honor.

He followed master classes with I.Gitlis, J.Palomares, V.Martín, G.Claret and J.levine and was awarded with scholarships to study in Granada and Santiago de Compostela.

At the age of eighteen he was appointed as a violin teacher at the Superior Conservatory  of Valencia and was invited to teach in the JONDE, JONC, OEMUC, OJIP and JOCV.

He gave violin classes in Cullera, Zaragoza, the Baleares and master classes in Morella, Cullera, Benidorm, Menorca and Palma de Mallorca a.m.

He has worked as concertmaster in The Valencian Orchestra, The Cadaques Orchestra, Grup Instrumental de Valencia and the Orchestra of the Madrid Community.

He is founder and concertmaster of the Collegium Instrumentale de Valencia and worked together with soloists like F.Ayo, N. Chumachenco, V.Martín a.o.

As a conductor he worked with the Orchestra of the Valencian Conservatory, The conservatory of the Baleares, Grup Contemporani de la JONC and the Orchestras of Elche, Valldigna and the Symphonic  Orchestra of Navarra.

At the moment Vicente Balaguer is head teacher at the Superior Conservatory of Valencia, the Superior Conservatory of the Baleares and works as a guest concertmaster in Navarra and in the Symphonic Orchestra of Barcelona and the National Orchestra of Catalunya.
